Patrick's grandfather moved to San Jose in the late 1800s and mined mercury in the New Almaden area. Monica's grandfather planted hundreds of trees in Campbell in the early part of this century.

Monica has lived in Willow Glen all her life. Patrick was raised in the Rosegarden area of San Jose and moved to Willow Glen in 1977. Both are SJSU graduates. They are a husband-wife sales team and have specialized in the Willow Glen area of San Jose since 1985.

Patrick holds a real estate broker's license, is a graduate of the Realtors' Institute and holds the GRI designation. He also earned the prestigious CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist) awarded by the Realtors' National Marketing Institute. Patrick earned the RECS designation (Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist) in 2001 and completed his e-PRO certification (National Association of Realtors) in 2004. The couple placed within the top 2 percent of all CENTURY 21 agents worldwide in terms of dollar volume sold in 1996,1997,1998,1999 earning the coveted CENTURION AWARD. In 2000, the couple earned the GRAND CENTURION AWARD and was placed within the top 100 real estate agents in Santa Clara County by San Jose Magazine. (Out of 10,000 real estate agents belonging to the Santa Clara County Board of Realtors). Century 21 Seville Contempo was folded into Coldwell Banker in 2001. The couple attained Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Premier status for sales production in 2002, the Coldwell Banker’s President’s Elite status for sales production in 2003 and Coldwell Banker's top honor, the International President's Premier status (Top 1% of the company internationally) for production in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and the top 1/2% in 2008.
